What the checks can't see
Parcyo shops your store the way a careful customer would, up to the payment step, and stops there. That leaves some problems out of reach. Here they are.
What every check covers
- the product page;
- choosing a size or color;
- add to cart, and the cart drawer when your theme has one;
- the cart;
- checkout opening;
- shipping options;
- payment methods;
- stopping before payment, so nothing is charged or ordered.
Each check runs on a phone and on a computer. When a step fails, a second check runs a minute later, and only a repeat failure becomes an alert.
What needs your test address
You can add one on your store's page once your watch is on. With it, every check also covers:
- the shipping options a shopper at that address sees, typed into your real checkout;
- payment methods on checkouts that only show them once an address is in;
- each extra country you sell to, with one address per country.
What it can't see
- Anything from the moment a shopper presses pay: a declined card, an order total that changes at the last click, or a pickup choice or phone number that is only rejected when the order is placed.
- Problems that only show up in Safari, in Apple Pay, or inside the Instagram or Facebook app. Our checks run in Chrome's engine.
- Your orders themselves: sales dropping to zero while the buying path still works, webhooks, tracking pixels and subscription renewals.
- Quiet catalog edits: a description, an image, a photo that doesn't follow the chosen color, or a price you changed in your admin, unless you told us the price to expect.
- Checkout add-ons that disappear without an error, like a delivery-date picker.
- One shopper's own phone, browser or old cookies.
What it never calls a break
Our browser being asked to prove it isn't a robot, rate limits, timeouts or network trouble on our side, age gates and sign-up popups, a checkout that asks shoppers to log in, a store behind a password page that was never open, and a test address your checkout rejects. These show on your store's page as “couldn't check”, never as an alert.
The check on our home page
The check you can watch when you sign up is one walk of your store per device, with no second check, so a FAILED there isn't a confirmed break. Your first full check after you confirm your email uses the full rules above.
